Architex commercial grade wallcoverings are manufactured to meet or exceed the physical and performance characteristics established by Federal Specification CCC-W-408D for wallcoverings. Architex wallcoverings are produced specifically for use in high traffic environments such as hotels, hospitals, office and apartment buildings, retail outlets and schools. Prior to choosing any wallcovering, an experienced building professional must be consulted to determine which wall surfacing materials are appropriate for that building. The building professional will review wall and building conditions, permeability requirements and other building specific requirements in helping to determine what surface materials are appropriate. All wallcoverings must be installed by an experienced commercial wallcovering installation professional who understands wallcovering use and installation requirements, including the requirement to test for and eliminate sources of moisture prior to wallcovering installation.
